ICS Consulting Engineering signed a five years frame contract with Makedonski Telekom for provisioning equipment and services for the products of VDSL2 Vectoring technology of the program of the world known producer of telecommunication equipment Nokia. In 2016 equipment for 3.000 customers will be provided which will be installed in the beginning of 2017.
Previously, ICS Consulting Engineering with his business partner Nokia (in that time Alcatel-Lucent) provided VDSL2 Vectoring equipment of this technology which is tested in laboratory conditions. The results of the practical tests have shown that VDSL2 technology provides an average speed per line of over 70 Mbit/s, and benefits are greater by activating vectoring the, so that the average speed per line exceeds 95 Mbit/s for distances of 600 m.
VDSL2 Vectoring is a noise-cancelling technology that eliminates interference between the VDSL2 lines, in a way that each VDSL2 line can work its best and deliver major transmission speeds. This technology can achieve speeds of 100 Mbit/s over distances up to 600 m. The advantages of VDSL2 (Vectoring) is the fast implementation and the low investment costs compared to FTTH option.
