The Rector of St. Cyril and Methodius University, Professor Dr. Nikola Jankulovski, paid a visit to ICS Consulting Engineering, on the occasion of the company’s 15th anniversary. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between academia and the industry and foster a spirit of collaboration.
During the visit, the Rector was warmly welcomed by the company’s executive team and employees. They provided an overview of the company’s achievements and milestones over the past 15 years, highlighting their innovative contributions to the technology sector.
The Rector, in turn, expressed satisfaction with the company’s accomplishments and its role in driving technological advancements. He emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry to foster knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and talent development.
Discussions revolved around potential partnerships, joint research initiatives, and internship programs for university students to gain practical experience in the dynamic ICT field. Particular emphasis was made to the opportunities provided by INNOFEIT, the Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje, as a bridge for cooperation between the economy, science, and education. Both parties acknowledged the significance of such collaborations in shaping the future of technology and empowering the next generation of skilled professionals.
The visit was concluded in a positive manner, with the Rector extending an invitation for the company’s representatives to participate in university events and share their expertise with the academic community.
